Golf Camp

This camp will be held at the Crooked Creek golf course. Lincoln Lutheran head golf coaches and several current and former HS players from both teams will lead the camp. The camp offers  two days of instruction on the fundamentals of golf, focusing on full swings, chipping and putting; information about participating in high school golf; and for some of the more experienced golfers a 9-hole round of golf working on playing fundamentals. The first day all campers will receive instruction from the coaches, both on the practice range and around the putting green. Campers will be paired with team members for one-on-one range time, promoting interaction between campers and current and former team members. This time will allow the team members to share their high school golf experiences, as well as give the campers an opportunity to ask questions about golf at Lincoln Lutheran. The second day, campers will be split into two groups. One group will work in a small group setting to maximize one-on-one instruction on fundamentals and how to practice for improvement. For the more advanced golfers, there will be an instructive warm-up period followed by a 9-hole round of golf with established high school golfers to work on playing aspects of the game. The camp cost of $60.00 includes range balls, a Lincoln Lutheran towel, and a sleeve of three golf balls for personal play.
